Terms of service.

Your rights and ours when you use Bloom or buy from us. Written to be read, not to be impenetrable. Last updated 21 September 2026.

Overview

Welcome to Bloom Prosthetics. “We”, “us” and “our” mean Bloom Prosthetics. We operate this website and shop, including all related information, content, features, products and services (the “Services”).

These terms, together with the policies they refer to (the “Terms”), set out your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services or buy from us. By using the Services you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

If you are buying as a consumer, you have legal rights that these Terms do not and cannot take away, in particular under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Wherever these Terms seem to say otherwise, those rights win.

1. Using the Services

You must be at least 18 to buy from us. The information you give us when you order, including your email address and delivery details, must be accurate, current and complete, and you must have the right to give it.

2. Our products

Bloom pieces are realistic silicone nipple and areola pieces, finished by hand in the UK. Because each one is made by hand, small variations in colour, texture and finish between pieces are part of the craft rather than defects. Colours on screen can also differ from the real thing, depending on your device and its settings.

The products and prices at the date of these Terms are:

  • Bloom Signature: £160 for one, £300 for a pair.
  • Mould and Mirror: £220 for one, £400 for a pair.
  • Mould Bank: £60 for one, £110 for a pair.
  • Fitting: £30.
  • Gift voucher: gift vouchers of £30, £60, £110, £150, £200, £300.

We may change our range or prices at any time, but the price you pay is the price shown when you placed your order.

3. Made-to-order pieces

Mould and Mirror is made to your own specification, from a mould taken at a face to face appointment with the artist you choose. Please check your choices carefully before you order. You can cancel within 48 hours of ordering for a full refund. Your piece is created within 14 days of your moulding appointment. You are responsible for the choices you make; we are responsible for making your piece to them, with reasonable care and skill.

4. Fittings and moulds

Fittings and moulds are booked and paid directly with Amanda Jo in Wallsend or Megan Jones in Durham, not through this website, and your artist’s booking terms apply to the appointment. Once your fitting or mould is done, we email you a credit code for the fee to use against a finished Bloom (see section 7). A fitting carries no obligation to buy anything.

Fitting appointments are non-refundable, and mould appointments have a 48 hour cancellation policy. See our Refund Policy.

5. Orders

When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. The contract between us is formed when we confirm your order by email, which we do once your payment has been taken. We may decline an order, for example if a product is unavailable or a price was shown in error. If we do, we will tell you and refund anything you have paid.

You confirm that you are buying for your own personal use or as a gift, and not for resale.

6. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include any tax that applies. Every posted order is sent by Royal Mail standard delivery for £3.99. It is shown in your basket and at checkout before you pay.

You can pay by card and, where offered at checkout, Klarna, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Payments are processed by Stripe. If you choose Klarna, your agreement with Klarna is subject to Klarna’s own terms and checks. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method you choose.

7. Gift vouchers and credit codes

  • Gift vouchers and credit codes are valid for 12 months from the day they are issued. The expiry date is shown in the email that carries the code.
  • They can be spent on any Bloom bought on this website, but not on other gift vouchers, or on fittings and moulds, which are paid directly to Amanda Jo or Megan Jones.
  • A code can be used across several orders until its balance is spent. Any balance left after an order stays on the code.
  • They cannot be exchanged for cash, in whole or in part.
  • Please keep your code safe. Anyone who has it can spend it, and we cannot replace a balance that has already been spent by someone else.
  • If an order paid with a code is refunded, the amount the code paid goes back onto the code. If an order that issued a gift voucher or credit code is refunded, that code is cancelled.
  • Discount codes, such as the INTRO10 code given when you join our emails, take a percentage off the pieces in an order. INTRO10 is 10% off a first order only, once per customer, and is not taken off gift vouchers or delivery. One code can be used per order, and a discount code has no cash value.
  • Refer a friend: each customer is given a personal code with their order. It takes 10% off a friend’s first order, never its owner’s. When a friend’s order is paid, the owner is sent a one-off 10% code for their next order.
  • Thank you codes, for a referral or for answering both Before you Bloom forms, work once, for the email address they were sent to, and are valid for 12 months. A thank you code earned by an order that is then refunded is cancelled.

8. Delivery

We deliver to UK addresses only. Delivery times and how we handle lost or damaged parcels are set out in our Shipping Policy. Your order is our responsibility until it has been delivered to you.

9. Cancellations and returns

Your rights to cancel and return, which differ between ready-made pieces, made-to-order pieces, appointments and gift vouchers, are set out in our Refund Policy. They form part of these Terms.

10. Health and advice

Nothing on the Services is medical advice. If you have questions about your health, your surgery, or whether a Bloom is right for your skin, please speak to a qualified healthcare professional.

11. Intellectual property

The Services, including the Bloom name, wordmark, text, photography, graphics and design, belong to Bloom Prosthetics or its licensors and are protected by UK and international intellectual property laws. You may use the Services for your own personal, non commercial use. You must not copy, reproduce, republish or distribute any part of them without our written permission.

12. Our providers

Any purchase you make is made directly with Bloom Prosthetics. We use third party providers to run the shop: Railway for hosting and our order database, Stripe for payments, Resend for email, and Royal Mail for delivery. They act on our instructions and are not party to the contract between you and us. What each of them handles is described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Third party links

The Services may link to websites we do not control, such as Royal Mail’s tracking pages. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and a link does not mean we endorse them.

14. Your messages and feedback

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve Bloom without owing you anything for them. We will never publish anything personal you tell us, or anything that identifies you, without your permission.

15. Errors

We work hard to keep everything on the Services accurate. If we find an error in a price or description after you have ordered, we will tell you and give you the choice of going ahead on the corrected basis or cancelling for a full refund.

16. Acceptable use

You may use the Services for lawful purposes only. You must not misuse them, for example by trying to gain unauthorised access, introducing malicious code, scraping them, guessing voucher codes, or using them to harass or harm anyone. We may suspend access to anyone who does.

17. Our liability to you

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of your statutory rights as a consumer, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Subject to that, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses, or for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control. Otherwise our total liability to you for any order is limited to the price you paid for it.

18. Events outside our control

If something outside our reasonable control delays or prevents us from meeting our obligations, such as a postal disruption, we will tell you as soon as we can and do what we reasonably can to limit the effect. If the delay is significant, you can cancel and we will refund you for anything not yet provided.

19. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect.

20. Waiver and entire agreement

If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later. These Terms and the policies they refer to are the whole agreement between you and us about your use of the Services and your orders.

21. Transfer

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation, and will tell you if we do. It will not affect your rights. You may not transfer your rights or obligations without our written agreement.

22. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your own country’s courts. Nothing here takes away the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the part of the UK where you live.

23. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, and will post the current version on this page with its date. The Terms that apply to an order are the ones in place when you placed it.
